if theres one thing i can say about tonight, its that i had a great time of solitude, but never felt welcomed.

i think its safe to say that i’m probably not going back there again

i know a lot of people that got burned by the church. They are what you call sinners. homosexuals, drunkards, druggies, etc. but aren’t those the people that we need to love and care for? yet we avoid them like they have a contagious disease? why then, do you follow the way of life, when you contradict it? how do you expect to win broken souls for heaven when you keep repelling them away from the one who will mend them?

I am one of these people that have been doing the latter. Are we all not sons and daughters of God? Are we not made in his image? Hating someone means that you’re hating the image of God. Hating God? Are you not supposed to be praising him in constant adoration and fear?

I love these “sinners” (which is all of you). i need to start a change, not to initiate a change in others watching me, but because God loved me first. A wretched sinner. How can you receive the grace of God and yet hate a person that was made in his image? You hypocrites! but who am I to say that? i have done nothing less than the same. Lord teach me how to love like you do.

“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. but the greatest of these is love” - 1 Corinthians 13:13

I don’t want money, fame or anything. If anything, just teach me how to love like you do. You expect the church to change. But the church is not the physical building. The church is the body of people, the congregation. So if you expect the church to change, it isn’t. Not until action is taken.

Love. Then love. Then love more. The love even more. Then keep loving.
